Viru Burger, originally a project planned for one summer, can now be found everywhere in Estonia. There are stationary restaurants on Tööstuse Street in Tallinn and on the 3rd floor of Kaubamaja in Tartu. Anywhere else you might run into their food truck.
Burgers can almost be considered a new Estonian national dish. They are offered everywhere, and everyone is trying to put a unique spin on them. Next to those desperately trying to differentiate themselves, Viru Burger offers unpretentious burgers. Ones where the meat, sauce and salad are in good balance. The burger patty is smashed against the grill plate while cooking and the result is a well-done but extremely juicy burger. Finish it off with homemade sauces from chefs with fine dining experience, buns baked specially for Viru Burger, and a good amount of fresh salad and simply the best burger is ready to eat. Many have tried to copy Viru Burger, but none have succeeded.
