This is the name of the most frequently changing dish in the menu of Kakumäe boat harbour restaurant. It is made from the catch of the day. However, Puri is not a seafood restaurant, ingredients are equally sourced from the sea, the field and the forest. Instead, Puri is a restaurant serving surprises. Just as you often find something unexpected washed ashore on the beach, Puri offers dishes in combinations you wouldn’t expect. Mushrooms and potatoes are not local wild mushrooms and pan-fried potatoes, but rather more exotic fried shimeji mushrooms with fire-roasted potatoes, quail eggs and whitefish roe. The bread spread is, of course, butter, but strongly porcini-flavoured. Fermented cabbage with Dijon mustard adds a bitter, sour flavour to lamb stewed for 12 hours.

While your taste buds are preoccupied with capturing interesting nuances, your eyes will enjoy the majestic view of the sea and the more or less impressive vessels currently stopping in the port. With a spacious and airy, Nordic-minimalist interior, Puri gives guests a sublime mood at no extra cost.
