Fishing village restaurant

Kaspervik is in a picturesque small coastal village. It is part of an imposing holiday complex Lainela, which you wouldn’t expect to find here. Many people will find the area familiar, because in earlier times there was a children’s summer camp here. The buildings of the camp still look the same as they did back in the day. Perhaps even the dishes offered in the present Kaspervik taste just like the campers remember.

Pike cutlets certainly are reminiscent of the old times, made with skills passed down from one generation to the next. As is the fish soup and dessert Cone, which consists of strawberries, ice cream and meringue. “Everything we can we make ourselves” reads a promise on the restaurant’s website. This promise is fulfilled even before the guest has entered with the mouth-watering aromas from the smoke oven that spread outside.

Food in Kaspervik along with a stay in Lainela offer authentic and strongly nostalgic fishing village romance.
