Unexpected find
Unexpected find is a good way to describe Võru. In the past, this location has had several different eateries that didn’t deserve much attention. Hence people end up here by chance the first time but return intentionally sooner rather than later.
Võru offers a menu that could be titled Greatest Hits of Estonian restaurants. Indeed, all these dishes are often found on the menus of many other restaurants, but for some reason other restaurants are not able to make the same dishes so lush.
The name Võru is not a reference to the city of the same name, but the Estonian word for bracelet. A masculine bracelet as can be seen on the logo of the restaurant. Food portions and calorie content are equally manly. The drink card has been compiled by one of the best sommeliers in Estonia. Võru is made to surprise and please Estonians. The sooner you get here the first time, the better for you.
