Housed in a wooden building with big windows, the restaurant blends in with the neighbourhood. Except for the massive golden-horned rhinoceros sculpture on the wall, though the meaning behind it is not obvious. Could it be some sort of Estonian-style snobbery?
Locals have embraced the restaurant as a venue for celebrations, hardly a day goes by without the small tables being pushed together to accommodate large parties. The customers at any remaining small tables also appear to be regulars and know exactly what they came here for. Perhaps this is why the waiters don’t rush to introduce the menu and let the customers decide for themselves. Fortunately deciding is easy, as the restaurant offers dishes well-known in Estonia, made well enough to justify eating out. The drinks menu is more snobbish, featuring a wide variety of wines and appetising cocktails, only beer connoisseurs might feel left out. Snoob is the perfect place for lunch or dinner when cooking at home feels like too much effort.
