Glamour restaurant
Let’s be honest, the glamorous lifestyle is alien to Estonia. Anyone who cannot live without glamour goes to enjoy it elsewhere, for example, to Monaco. The lifestyle of Monaco is as far away from Tallinn’s as the physical distance between the two.
However, one place in Tallinn bears comparison with Monaco. This restaurant is Puri in Kakumäe marina Haven. The building where Puri is located looks spectacular both inside and out. Owners of fancy sea vessels also like to display them here in Haven more than in other ports in Tallinn. Thus, Puri’s windows offer more Monaco-like and less Tallinn-like views.
The food is worthy of the views. Start with champagne and caviar or carefully selected oysters. Continue with sole, monkfish or at least halibut. And finish with a dessert called Malibu Club.
Tallinn is just big enough that one well-kept glamour restaurant could successfully operate here. Especially since the glamour of Puri is genuine, not a blatant copy of something experienced elsewhere.
