Restaurant and distillery
People of Põhjaka Manor like to be the first to do something. Years ago, when every single chef had the dream of working in a fine dining restaurant in the heart of a big city, they ended their contracts at a restaurant like this and moved to the countryside. This move was the start of Põhjaka manor restaurant, which they largely restored with their own hands.
Behind the restaurant is a garden. The land is used at any one time to rear chickens, pigs or sheep. To ensure that the restaurant’s food is as pure as possible and the journey to the table short.
The production of spirits was for a long time only the domain of large producers. Of course, it was the Põhjaka men who went through the gauntlet and literally fought for permission for their distillery. With the same perseverance, they now make strong stuff with quality and taste that sets an example for newer makers.
Now we are looking forward to what they will do next, to find out what the next trend will be.
