A High-End Eatery With Self-Service
The first impression of Love Mussels is deceptive. Long service counter directly opposite the main door. White, ascetic-style furniture… is this a fast-food joint? Certainly not. As the name suggests, it is mainly a seafood restaurant, with a menu centred around mussels in different sauces. There is also a lot on the menu that you can’t find anywhere else. For example, osidzusi or tartar beluga. The latter is a fresh oyster covered with beef tartar, grated egg yolk and onion. For meat lovers, there is a dedicated chapter on the menu, featuring Peking Duck among other things.
Food is ordered from the counter and the customer can help themselves to wine from the wine dispensers. They will also have to pick up their own cutlery and glasses. Self-service! Initially, it seems a little strange, but you get used to it quickly and start even liking it. So far no one has complained about the quality of service.
An eatery with a unique concept lifts your spirits. The savings that self-service generates are immediately visible on each departing customer’s receipt.
