Jahu restaurant group, which started with a small burger kiosk, keeps growing. Every expansion happens according to the same scenario. They pick a cuisine that is offered by a large number of restaurants, but none reach the level Jahu people expect.
That is precisely the case with sushi in Tallinn. There are countless sushi places, but it is as if they share the same kitchen. That’s how similar all the restaurants are to each other. Jahu Sushi, on the other hand, is an ambitious standout. Here the boundaries of sushi are explored and pushed, so lightly cooked beef or foie gras are common ingredients.
The tiny restaurant with just three tables is kept busy with a constant stream of takeaway orders. Those opting to dine in will get to observe what pushing the boundaries looks like and sometimes taste a dish that has not yet made it to the menu.
