Exceeds expectations
Chatter moves quickly and gets to people long before they visit a restaurant. Thus, it can easily happen that the expectations of a first-time visitor are hopelessly high.
Fii is not a new restaurant, but a lot of good things are being said about it. Yet the first visit (in fact, the following ones too) to the restaurant lowers expectations little by little with every step. Entering the restaurant via the shopping centre means having to first navigate the maze of corridors. Entering from the hotel side feels like you are sneaking in through the back door.
Perhaps this is a clever trick to ensure that the guests’ expectations are met. The food is very modern here, the chefs are well versed in various cooking techniques. Gels, jus, and oils add flavour to the dishes. Milieu is simple, intentionally designed this way to allow guests to focus on the most important part, the flavours.
