Restaurant like a cocktail
On the table in front of each guest, Cru staff places two menu cards. The first has cocktails, the second has food and rest of the drinks. Cru’s cocktail list is not long enough to call it a cocktail restaurant, but the restaurant itself is like a good cocktail mixed from several components.
In summer Cru lures with a comfortable terrace in front of the restaurant and even more with the tables located in a shaded courtyard. Eating in the courtyard and eating on the terrace are two such different experiences, they might as well be two different restaurants.
The same continues inside, the dining room on the street side is radically different from the room on the courtyard side, and the basement has a third milieu. Same goes for the food. Looking at the menu, one gets the impression that this is modern European cuisine. Yet each individual dish still has additional nuances or influences, mainly Slavic and Asian. This is the style of Cru’s head chef.
