There is finally a decent restaurant in the centre once built for the Olympic Games – Pirita Yachting Centre. However, this restaurant, which is called Sardiinid, is not easy to find, unless you are docking a yacht in the Pirita port.
Entering the building and taking the elevator to get to the restaurant on the third floor of the building will first leave you feeling eerie. The atmosphere still emanates the last century and with it, the bureaucratic institution that was located there in the eighties. This creates a bias against the restaurant even before entering.
However, if you decide to look past the first impression, you will see the beautiful views that open from Sardiinid to many directions at once. There are boats as far as you can see and the feeling of eeriness dissipates in seconds.
The menu of Sardiinid is sure to include sardines, which of course taste delicious. The food at the restaurant is simple and honest, befitting a seaside restaurant.
