Art Priori – a mysterious artist

1. March 2017

Art Priori is a mysterious and much talked-about restaurant. It is especially mysterious for those who have not visited the restaurant yet. However, it can be said that the mystery of the place haunts those who have been there as well.

While sitting in Art Priori, you feel like you are in an art museum, eating art. In any other case, it would be against the law, but in Art Priori, it is mandatory – there, art is not only on the walls but on the plate as well. Art and food go hand in hand and this is a concept that makes them totally unique in Estonia.

The duck, which has previously been smoked in hay in a pot, is spiced up by pickled rowanberries that add a fresh accent to the whole dish. Hennessy V.S.O.P in the sauce and in a glass joins the two into a harmonious pair.

The four-course experience is ended with a real bomb – an orange bomb. Yes, you read it right. The orange dream with a hint of vanilla hidden in truffle is first appreciated by a sip of Hennessy X.O, and then, the whole orange bomb is eaten at once. What happens in the mouth at this point can safely be regarded as a major culinary explosion. Small, powerful, and full of taste.

Art Priori is a safe bet – an experience that never disappoints. Who has not been there yet – go! Those who have been there will find their way back sooner or later anyway.
